 2021 Special Exhibition "Moving Karakuri Art Exhibition";Surprise Box in the Mysterious Forest

 The purpose of this exhibition is to nurture the rich sensibilities of children through works that can be seen, touched, and experienced, and to present art that can be enjoyed by everyone. 
 With "moving karakuri" and "karakuri in motion" as the main points of creation, the exhibition will feature about 60 karakuri dolls created using materials such as oil paintings, glass, light, wood, and cardboard, as well as paintings and objects with karakuri-like elements.
 The exhibiting artists are karakuri artist Takaki Tanaka, contemporary artists Shinya Morishita and Nobuyoshi Kano, glass artist Yuichi Matsuo, and painter Junji Matsunaga.

・Period: January 8, 2022 (Sat) - February 27, 2022 (Sun) 9/00 a.m. to 5/00 p.m. (Admission until 4/30 p.m.)
・Closed Mondays (or the following day if Monday is a national holiday) 
・Admission: 300 yen (250 yen for each in case of  the group of 15 or more people.)
 Free of charge for junior high school students or younger, and for those with disability certificates.

2) "Let's play together with a shadow projector!

February 13, 2022, (Sun) 2/00p.m. to 4/00 p.m.
・Description: We will make a shadow puppet projector and  play with it.
・Capacity: Up to 10 pairs (1 child and 1 guardian) per session. ( reservation required) 
・Eligibility: 3rd grade elementary school students or younger (must be accompanied by a parent or guardian)
・Cost: 1,200 yen for materials. 300 yen for a parent or guardian. 
・Venue: Okawa City Seiriki Art Museum
